When you buy a track on The Ghost Production, you receive exclusive full rights — meaning the track becomes legally and permanently yours.
The producer forfeits all ownership, and the platform removes the track from sale immediately after purchase.

This article explains what exclusive full rights include, how they protect you as a buyer, and what limitations apply.

1. What Exclusive Full Rights Mean

Exclusive full rights give you complete ownership of the purchased track and all its elements.
This includes:

• Master recording rights (the actual audio files)
• Composition rights (melody, arrangement, and production)
• Distribution rights (you can release it anywhere)
• Commercial rights (you can monetize it fully)

Once the transaction is complete, the producer cannot:

• Reuse, resell, or share the track
• Claim authorship
• Release it under another name
• Use any part of the melody or production elsewhere

The buyer becomes the sole and permanent copyright holder.

2. What You Can Do as the Buyer

With exclusive full rights, you can:

• Release the track under your own artist or label name
• Edit, remix, or modify it freely
• Rename the track before release
• Use it in DJ sets, videos, or commercials
• Monetize it on any streaming or distribution platform

You are not required to credit the original producer, and you own all future royalties.

3. What the Producer Retains

After sale, the producer retains no rights to the track.

4. Legal Documents Included

Every purchase includes one legal document that confirms your ownership:

• Exclusive Track Assignment and Confidentiality Agreement: Transfers the rights in the track from the producer to the buyer and covers confidentiality. There is no separate NDA file.
• Electronic signatures: The producer signs when submitting the track and you sign at checkout. The PDF carries both signatures and an electronic signature certificate. Tracks listed before electronic signing started come with the earlier licence agreement until their producer has signed.

The agreement serves as proof of the transfer. You may show it to distributors, labels, collecting societies, courts and others who need proof of ownership, but you may not publish it.

5. Limitations

While you hold full rights, the following conditions apply:

• Purchases are non-refundable once completed.
• You may license the track or sell the rights on. A track that has been sold cannot be listed on The Ghost Production again.
• The agreement states the legal name of the producer. You must keep it confidential and may never credit or name the producer publicly.
