Overview
Every Custom Service on The Ghost Production — whether it’s an Original Track, Remix, Co-Production, or Mixing and Mastering — is delivered with exclusive rights and full rights transfer to the buyer.
This article explains how ownership transfer works, when it becomes active, and what rights you gain after the final delivery.
1. When Ownership Transfers
Ownership of your custom project transfers only after the final payment (70 %) has been completed and the order is marked as Delivered.
At this point:
- You become the sole owner of the track or service result.
- The producer loses all rights to the material.
- You can release, distribute, and monetize the project freely under your own artist name.
Until the final payment is made, all demos, drafts, or previews remain the property of the producer and cannot be used, uploaded, or shared publicly.
2. Your Exclusive Rights
After final delivery, you receive full exclusive rights to your completed custom project.
These include:
| Right | Description |
|---|---|
| Master Rights | You own the master recording and can release it on any platform. |
| Publishing Rights | You can register and collect royalties under your name or label. |
| Distribution Rights | You can distribute your track on Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, etc. |
| Synchronization Rights | You can license your track for film, ads, or media use. |
All rights are granted permanently and exclusively to you as the buyer.
3. Producer Restrictions
Once ownership transfers:
- The producer cannot reuse, resell, share, or redistribute any part of your project.
- The producer cannot release or promote the track publicly.
- The project remains fully confidential and covered by a non-disclosure agreement.
Violations of these terms may result in permanent account suspension and legal action under The Ghost Production’s Terms of Use.
4. Using Your Track or Project
Once you’ve received the final files and ownership is transferred, you can:
- Release the track under your own artist name or label.
- Modify or remix the project further.
- Register it with a distributor, publisher, or performing rights organization (PRO).
- Use it for commercial or non-commercial purposes without crediting the producer.
Your project is exclusive, meaning it’s sold and delivered only once — to you.
5. Limitations Before Final Payment
Before completing the final payment:
- You do not own the demo or unfinished version.
- You cannot upload, release, or use the demo on streaming platforms, social media, or anywhere publicly.
- The producer maintains temporary rights until payment is complete.
Ownership and release rights only become active after the final payment is confirmed.
6. AI and Sample Policy
- AI-generated instrumentals are not allowed on The Ghost Production.
- AI vocals are allowed only if clearly labeled and commercially cleared.
- All samples used in the project must be royalty-free and cleared for commercial release.
Your ownership covers the final creative work as delivered but does not extend to unlicensed third-party content.
7. Summary
