Overview
Clear and professional communication is essential for a smooth custom service experience on The Ghost Production.
This article explains how to communicate effectively with your producer, what is allowed, and what should be avoided to ensure transparency and project security.
1. Always Communicate Through the Platform
All communication between you and your producer must take place inside The Ghost Production platform.
This keeps your project secure and ensures:
- All messages and file exchanges are logged for support review if needed.
- Your communication history is protected in case of disputes.
- Both parties follow the same platform guidelines.
Avoid sharing personal contact details such as email, phone number, or social media accounts. Off-platform communication is not permitted for safety and accountability reasons.
2. How to Communicate With Your Producer
You can message your producer directly inside your order page:
👉 My Account → Services Orders → Select Order.
Use the built-in chat box to:
- Ask questions or clarify details about your project.
- Share creative ideas, reference tracks, or inspiration.
- Receive updates on progress or delivery timelines.
All messages are automatically saved in your order history.
3. Response Times
Producers are expected to reply within 24–48 hours during active projects.
If a producer takes longer to respond, you can send a polite reminder message in the order chat.
If there’s still no response after several days, please contact support by submitting a ticket at https://theghostproduction.com/ticket and selecting Custom Services → Communication Issue.
4. Keep Communication Professional
Maintaining a respectful and professional tone is key to successful collaboration.
Do:
- Be polite and constructive in your feedback.
- Use clear and specific language.
- Stay focused on your project’s goals.
Don’t:
- Use rude or offensive language.
- Spam the chat with repeated messages.
- Demand instant responses outside normal hours.
Producers on The Ghost Production work with multiple clients and need time to respond thoughtfully.
5. Sharing References or Files
You can safely upload and share reference files, audio examples, or creative notes through the order page.
Supported formats include WAV, MP3, ZIP, and TXT.
Never share copyrighted material that you don’t have permission to use.
Always make sure your reference files are intended for inspiration only.
6. Revisions and Feedback in Communication
When you receive a demo:
- Use the Revision Form (not the chat) for official change requests.
- Use the chat for simple clarifications or general questions.
This separation helps producers keep track of revision requests accurately and ensures all changes are properly logged.
7. Off-Platform Contact Policy
To protect both parties, The Ghost Production strictly prohibits moving communication or transactions outside the platform.
Examples of prohibited behavior:
- Sharing your email or social media handle to continue the project privately.
- Requesting payment or additional work outside the system.
- Exchanging personal details to avoid platform fees.
Violating this rule may result in account suspension and loss of platform protection (refunds, dispute handling, etc.).
8. Reporting Communication Issues
If you encounter unprofessional or inappropriate behavior during a project, report it immediately:
Select Custom Services → Communication Issue.
Include your order number and a short summary of what happened.
Our team will review chat logs and take appropriate action.
