About
MGDJ is an Egyptian 16-year-old music producer and composer emerging as a fast-growing name in the phonk and Brazilian funk scenes. After studying music theory since 2022, he began producing in FL Studio in early 2025, blending strong technical foundations with a sharp melodic instinct and modern sound design. His style fuses dark, nostalgic phonk textures with energetic Brazilian funk influences, creating tracks that feel both atmospheric and club-ready.
His breakout momentum came through major releases like COM FORÇA, which surpassed 12,000 streams within three months, and CONTIGO SÍ, which exploded to over 10,000 streams in just its first week. These milestones, supported by label promotion and playlist placements, marked a turning point in his career and significantly expanded his global audience. Alongside these flagship tracks, MGDJ has continued to build a growing catalog of releases that showcase his evolving production skills and distinct sonic identity, including VER VER, NO PIQUE, ROLE BEM SOLTO, and TO VI.
Defined by punchy rhythms, melodic hooks, and polished yet emotive production, MGDJ represents a new generation of teen producers shaping the future of phonk and Brazilian funk. As his streaming numbers and monthly listeners continue to rise, he is quickly establishing himself as a promising artist to watch, driven by both technical precision and genuine creative passion.
