Overview

Uploading tracks is the main way producers sell music on The Ghost Production marketplace.

Every track must be submitted through your Seller Dashboard and will go through a review process before it becomes available for buyers.

Track review helps ensure that all tracks meet the platform quality standards and include the required files.

Track reviews can take up to 5 business days.

Once approved, your track will become publicly available for buyers to listen to and purchase.

Step 1 — Open Your Seller Dashboard

Log in to your account and open your seller dashboard:

Seller Dashboard

From the left menu select:

Tracks

This section contains all tracks you have uploaded.

Step 2 — Add a New Track

Inside the Tracks section click:

Add New Track

You will then be asked to enter the track information and upload the required files.

Step 3 — Fill Track Information

You must provide accurate information about your track.

Typical information includes:

• Track title
• Genre
• BPM
• Key
• DAW used
• Plugins used
• Track description
• Vocal type (if vocals are present)

Providing accurate information is important because buyers rely on this data when choosing tracks.

Incorrect information may lead to refunds or track removal.

Step 4 — Upload the Track ZIP Package

You must upload a ZIP package containing all required files.

The ZIP package must include the full production package so the buyer receives everything needed after purchase.

The ZIP file should include:

• Mastered version (WAV + MP3)
• Unmastered version (WAV + MP3)
• Instrumental version (if applicable)
• All stems (WAV format)
• All MIDI files used in the track

If files are missing, the submission may be rejected.

Step 5 — Upload the Cover Image

Each track requires a cover image.

Cover image requirements:

• Minimum resolution 500 x 500 px
• Clear and readable design
• No blurry or distorted text
• No copyrighted artwork

Low quality images may cause the submission to be rejected.

Step 6 — Submit for Review

Once all fields and files are completed, submit the track for review.

Your track will then enter the moderation queue.

Track review usually takes up to 5 business days.

During the review process we check:

• Audio quality
• File completeness
• Metadata accuracy
• Licensing compliance

If everything is correct, the track will be approved and listed on the marketplace.

Track Approval Statuses

After submission you may see several different statuses.

Pending Review

Your track is waiting for the review team.

Approved

Your track is live and available for purchase.

Rejected

Your track did not pass review. The rejection reason will be provided so you can fix the issue and resubmit.

Common Reasons Tracks Are Rejected

Tracks may be rejected for several reasons.

Common examples include:

• Track length too short (tracks should generally be at least 2 minutes)
• Missing required files
• Missing stems
• Missing MIDI files
• Missing instrumental version
• Missing mastered or unmastered versions
• Low quality cover image
• Incorrect track information
• Use of copyrighted or non-licensed samples

Before submitting your track, make sure the ZIP package includes all required files.

After Your Track Is Approved

Once approved, your track will appear on the marketplace.

Buyers can:

• Listen to the preview
• View track details
• Purchase the track with full rights

All tracks are sold once only, meaning each buyer receives a completely exclusive track.

After purchase the track is automatically removed from the marketplace.

Tips to Increase Your Chances of Approval

To improve approval chances:

• Upload full production packages
• Double check file structure
• Use high quality audio exports
• Provide accurate track metadata
• Use professional cover artwork

Following these guidelines will help your tracks pass review faster.
