Overview

Custom Services allow producers to offer personalized music production services to buyers on The Ghost Production.

Unlike ready-to-release tracks, Custom Services are projects created specifically for a buyer based on their requirements.

Common services include:

• Original tracks
• Remixes
• Co-production
• Mixing
• Mastering
• MIDI creation

When a buyer places an order, the project will appear in your Services section inside the seller dashboard.

Where to Find Your Orders

You can access your orders from the seller dashboard.

Navigate to:

Seller DashboardServices

Here you will see all custom service orders including:

• Order details
• Buyer requirements
• Delivery deadlines
• Order status
• Chat with the buyer

How the Custom Order Process Works

Custom service orders follow a structured workflow to ensure smooth collaboration between producers and buyers.

Order Placement

When a buyer places an order, they provide project details such as:

• Music style or genre
• Reference tracks
• BPM and key preferences
• Vocal requirements (if applicable)
• Additional notes

Once the order is placed, the delivery countdown begins.

Working on the Project

After receiving the order, the producer begins creating the track based on the buyer’s requirements.

During this stage you can communicate with the buyer through the order chat if clarification is needed.

Demo Delivery

The first step in delivery is usually sending a demo version.

The demo is typically an MP3 preview that allows the buyer to review the concept of the track.

After reviewing the demo, the buyer can either:

• Approve the demo
• Request revisions

Revisions

If the buyer requests revisions, they will submit their feedback through the revision request form.

Producers should implement the requested changes and upload an updated version.

Each service includes a limited number of free revisions defined by the producer when creating the service.

Additional revisions may be offered as paid extras.

Final Delivery

Once the demo is approved and revisions are completed, you will upload the final delivery package.

The final delivery usually includes:

• Mastered version
• Unmastered version
• Stems
• MIDI files
• Project file if included

After final delivery, the buyer can review the files and complete the order.

Order Statuses Explained

During the process you may see several order statuses.

The order has been placed and is waiting to begin.

In Progress

The producer is currently working on the project.

Awaiting Demo

The system is waiting for the demo delivery.

Demo Uploaded

The demo has been delivered and the buyer is reviewing it.

Revision

Awaiting Final Delivery

The demo has been approved and the producer is preparing the final files.

Completed

The order is finished and payment is released.

Delivery Deadlines

Each custom order has a delivery deadline defined by the producer.

The delivery countdown begins as soon as the order is placed.

Producers should monitor deadlines carefully to avoid delays.

Repeated missed deadlines may affect your reputation as a seller.

Communication Rules

Communication between buyers and producers must remain inside the platform.

Producers should not attempt to move communication outside the marketplace.

All project discussions, feedback, and updates should happen through the order chat system.

Order Cancellations

Custom service orders can be cancelled by either the buyer or the producer.

If the buyer cancels the order:
The producer will receive the 30% deposit if work has already started and time has been invested in the project.

If the producer cancels the order:
The buyer will receive a full refund.

If there is a dispute regarding cancellation, both parties can contact support by creating a ticket so the situation can be reviewed.
